Boxerjam (http://www.boxerjam.com/), a leading producer and distributor of games and game shows for online, wireless and broadcast networks, today announced a partnership with SoapCity, the premiere online destination for fans of daytime drama. The agreement calls for Boxerjam to produce a special edition "The Young and the Restless" themed online trivia game, which will be available throughout September on the Boxerjam site, the official The Young and the Restless web site (http://www.soapcity.com/yr) and SoapCity.com. Y&R is celebrating its 7,000th episode, an event which occurs every four years in the soap opera world. The 7,000th episode is currently scheduled to air on CBS on October 31, 2000, barring any preemptions. Players can play the game at http://www.boxerjam.com/ or http://www.soapcity.com/.

"We are delighted that SoapCity is enabling Boxerjam to be a part of television history as "The Young and the Restless" cast and crew prepare to celebrate their 7000th episode," said Temple Fennell, President and COO of Boxerjam. "As Boxerjam is still in its infancy, we aspire to have the same longevity as Y&R and hope to continue to entertain our fans for many years to come."

"With the bulk of daytime audience being women, Boxerjam is a perfect fit for this partnership. Since inception Boxerjam has had an intimate knowledge of the online female audience," said Mary Coller, General Manager of SoapCity.

Boxerjam, known for its original game show content, will create the single-player "The Young and the Restless" trivia game using the "CrossWire" game engine. This technology requires players to match column A with the correct answer in Column B. This game format is similar to that of Boxerjam's own CrossWire puzzle, where players test their knowledge of two trivia categories against the clock to achieve the "HighWire" round.
