PGA TOUR Pro's Notah Begay III and Tom Lehman 'Tee Off' for Charity in PlayStation®2 Players Challenge at the Sony Open in Hawaii 2001

The Sony Open in Hawaii 2001 on January 15-21 will have something for everyone including some of the world's best golfers, breathtaking new technology, high-profile entertainment, charitable events - including PlayStation®2 Players Challenge and an increased purse to $4 million.

  WHO:       PGA TOUR golfers, Notah Begay III and Tom Lehman

  WHAT:      Notah Begay III and Tom Lehman will join local youngsters from
             selected charities to participate in a PlayStation®2 Players
             Challenge on the Sony JumboTron on the 18th green at Waialae.
             The PlayStation®2 Players Challenge will feature the
             soon-to-be-released game ATV Offroad Fury™.  Two children
             representing the local HUGS and Make a Wish Foundations will
             visit and assist these PGA TOUR players during the competition.

  WHEN:      Tuesday, January 16, 2001 at 5:45 p.m.

  WHERE:     Waialae Golf Course on the 18th green
        500 Kahala Avenue, Honolulu, Hawaii

  MORE:      The PlayStation® 2 Players Challenge will be shown live on
             the JumboTron. Sony Computer Entertainment America will make
             donations to both charities as well as to the two competing PGA
             TOUR golfers' charities of choice.
