John Ondrasik and Five For Fighting will come aboard the first annual Jeep World Outside Festival beginning Wednesday, August 7 at the AmSouth Amphitheatre in Nashville, Tennessee, and remain on the road through the tour's end at the Tweeter Center in Boston on August 17 (see itinerary following). Since August 2000, Five For Fighting has been on the road -- both as headliners and as a support act -- promoting America Town, the group's debut album. The current Five For Fighting shows come as the band takes a break from writing and recording the eagerly-awaited follow-up album to America Town.

John Ondrasik has been winning kudos from critics for his live performances. Dan Aquilante, writing in the New York Post (March 14, 2002) praised Five For Fighting's " ... low-fi, high-energy show at Irving Plaza ... this guy has a songbook full of tunes, many of which are as good as 'Superman' -- and a couple that are better ... One of the best of the night was 'Jainy' ... Ondrasik had the girls and the guys on his side with his heartfelt power ballad 'The Last Great American' ... it was the perfect end to a fine concert."

The first concert event of its kind, the Jeep World Outside Festival in a music/interactive-adventure sports extravaganza featuring two stages' worth of musical performances and the Outside Magazine Adventure Village. Among its features, the Outside Magazine Adventure Village offers concertgoers the opportunity to experience whitewater kayaking, rock climbing, mountain biking, freestyle skiing and snowboarding, and scuba diving.

A DVD single featuring the videos for both "Easy Tonight" and the Grammy-nominated "Superman (It's Not Easy)" is in stores now.
