Columbia Music Video/Aware Records will release John Mayer's Any Given Thursday -- the first commercially available DVD/VHS release from the critically-acclaimed multi-platinum recording artist -- to stores on Tuesday, February 11.

On Tuesday, January 7, John Mayer received his first two Grammy nominations: Best New Artist and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for "Your Body Is A Wonderland," a track from his double-platinum Aware/Columbia Records release, Room For Squares.

Fans of John Mayer are in for a special treat when they experience Any Given Thursday. Recorded live at the Oak Mountain Amphitheater in Birmingham, Alabama, on September 12, 2002, Any Given Thursday captures all the magic, wit, and warmth of John Mayer in concert. Featuring live versions of songs from John's albums -- the RIAA double platinum-selling breakthrough album, Room For Squares, and his recently-re-released independent debut Inside Wants Out -- as well as previously unreleased new material, Any Given Thursday showcases all of John's talents: his passionate singing, his lyrical guitar- work, his off-the-wall humor. The music from Any Given Thursday will also be available as a two CD collection.

As an added bonus, Any Given Thursday includes three exclusive features. Fans will be able to join John backstage before the show for "Any Given Soundcheck," experience the refreshing candor of his reflections in "The Morning After" interview, and stroll through a fascinating exclusive "Photo Gallery."

The DVD edition of Any Given Thursday also includes an audio commentary from John revealing the many facets of the artist and his music.

Established John Mayer fans, as well as newcomers to his music, will find that Any Given Thursday is absolutely the best day of the week.

Released on Aware/Columbia Records in September 2001, John Mayer's Room For Squares has become one of the biggest new artist success stories of the year. The album steadily worked its way up the charts, driven in part by fan word-of-mouth and the multi-format (Top 40 Mainstream, Top 40 Adult, Modern Adult, AAA, Hot AC) success of the singles "No Such Thing" and, most recently, "Your Body Is A Wonderland." Room For Squares has been certified double platinum in the U.S. has spent more than a year in the Top 200. Inside Wants Out, John's 1999 independent release, was recently released on Columbia Records and debuted at #22 on the Billboard 200 best-selling album chart.

John has enjoyed great critical acclaim for both his live performances and Room For Squares. Spin called John Mayer one of the magazine's "Bands To Watch," and in this year's Vanity Fair music issue, John is one of the "Next Big Things." He's been singled out as one of Rolling Stone's "People of the Year" for 2002, a "Breakout Musician" in USA Today, and Entertainment Weekly's "Best Singer-Songwriter" for 2002.
