James L. Brooks Launches Open Casting Call in L.A. to Find Latina Actresses To Star in His New Film

Oscar-winner James L. Brooks, writer and director of the films Terms of Endearment and As Good As It Gets is searching for three Latina actresses to star in the highly anticipated romantic comedy, Spanglish, also co-starring Adam Sandler and Tea Leoni.

Written and directed by Brooks, the film will begin production this fall in Los Angeles. Spanglish is the story of a Latina mother and daughter as they move to Los Angeles and confront both the opportunities and challenges that life in the United States presents.

Brooks' company, Gracie Films, will be holding an open casting call in L.A. on August 23 for three beautiful, intelligent, bilingual Latina actresses to play the following roles: Mother (Age 26-34), Daughter (Age 6), Daughter (Age 12).
