Eamon Checks Into the Onyx Hotel; Opens Up for Britney Spears on the Second Leg of her U.S. Tour

Jive/Zomba recording artist Eamon is scheduled to perform on the first ten dates of Britney Spears' Onyx Hotel Tour. He will kick off her tour on June 22 in Hartford, CT. and will entertain all their fans thru July 4th in Hershey, PA (see tour dates below).

Eamon's second single "My Baby's Lost (Like That)" off of his top 10 debut album I Don't Want You Back is following in the steps of the success fueled by his hit single "F**k It (I Don't Want You Back);" which recently spent 9 weeks as #1 on the U.S. single sales chart, according to Soundscan; and has just entered the UK singles chart at No.1 with a staggering 153,287 sales in one week. This makes the single the highest first week sales the UK has seen in 2004; more than the rest of the entire Top 5 singles put together.

Eamon's recent television appearances include The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, On-Air with Ryan Seacrest, Jimmy Kimmel Live and Showtime at the Apollo. He has been in a number of leading publications including Entertainment Weekly, and Rolling Stone and will be featured in the upcoming Teen People Music Issue and Blender magazine.

A 20 year-old singer/songwriter from Staten Island, New York, Eamon has been recording since the age of 9, performing with his father's doo-wop group.

He recorded this album with help from producers Milk Dee (Top Billin'), Mark Passy and Yared Williams of the 1st Priority Music Group.
