WHAT: America's most recognized toy test event, NBC's
"TODAY" show Toy Test 2005, announced today the
results for the top software titles for the holiday
season, voted on by the kids putting videogames at
the top of their wish lists themselves.
                       PlayStation®2 computer entertainment exclusives
EyeToy: Play 2™ and Ratchet: Deadlocked™, both
were ranked among the top software titles for the
holiday season. EyeToy: Play 2 is the sequel to
EyeToy: Play™, which was released two years ago
and placed fourth at Toy Test 2003. EyeToy: Play 2's
fifth place finish this year, marks the third year in
a row that an EyeToy™ technology based software
title has placed in the top 5; EyeToy: AntiGrav™
was fourth at Toy Test 2004. Using cutting-edge
technology to project and track the player's image on
screen, the EyeToy USB camera continues to take
interactive entertainment to a whole new level, as
gamers instantly take center stage as the main
characters in their own game. The No. 14 ranking of
Ratchet: Deadlocked follows the success of its
predecessor in the Ratchet & Clank® franchise, No.
3 title of Toy Test 2004, Ratchet & Clank®: Up Your
                       Arsenal.

The list of top holiday titles also included
PlayStation 2 titles Burnout™ Revenge (Electronic
Arts), The Incredible Hulk™: Ultimate Destruction
(Vivendi Universal Games), and The Incredibles: Rise
of the Underminer (THQ). With all these holiday
favorites, it looks as though PlayStation products
will once again be in high demand and the must-have
gift during the holiday shopping season.
