A new service offered by Sony's ImageStation® online photo service and Longs Drugs Stores, announced today, provides customers with the ease and convenience of printing their digital photos directly to a professional photo-lab.

ImageStation is Sony Electronics' online photo service that allows consumers to upload, store and share their digital images and video clips online. With this service customers can upload their digital images from their personal computers to ImageStation.com and choose to have their photos printed at any of the 477 Longs Drugs Stores on the West Coast and Hawaii.

ImageStation users can create wallet sized, 4 x 6-inch, 5 x 7-inch or 8 x 10-inch prints of their favorite photos.

At ImageStation.com, consumers can configure and confirm their order and then select the most convenient Longs Drugs location to pick up their prints. A Longs Drugs Store locator on the ImageStation web site helps consumers find the nearest location.

The site allows you to save your preferred store for later orders. Print pricing is determined by Longs Drugs and no shipping fees are incurred.

"The association between ImageStation and Longs Drugs Stores allows busy households and photographers more options for creating prints from their digital images," said Bob Nell, said Bob Nell, vice president of Sony Image Station. "We are strengthening our commitment to provide more choices for digital photographers to improve the overall experience of digital imaging."

"Our focus on customer service complements Sony's commitment to offer their customers more options," said Neil Yarian divisional merchandise manager of photo and general merchandise at Longs Drugs. "We believe that Sony ImageStation customers will value our convenient locations, knowledgeable staff and affordable prices."

Most Longs Drugs orders placed via ImageStation.com are available within one hour after the prints are ordered. ImageStation customers who opt for Longs Drugs in-store service will continue to benefit from the storage, sharing and additional ImageStation membership features they currently enjoy.
