Columbia Records artist Teddy Geiger will meet 50 lucky fans in select cities on his upcoming tour (itinerary below) courtesy of Seventeen magazine, which will feature the rising young superstar on the cover of the November 2006 issue (on sale October 3). In this unique promotion, the November cover acts a backstage pass to a private concert for the first 50 fans who arrive at Teddy's concert venue in each city two hours before show time.

Seventeen, which reaches 13 million readers each month and is today's best-selling teen magazine, has chosen Teddy Geiger as its first male cover model in five years. When the November issue hits the stands, he will join a select group of male artists who have graced the magazine's cover, including Justin Timberlake and Leonardo DiCaprio.

In each participating city on Teddy's tour, the first 50 fans to arrive at the concert venue two hours before the official show time with Teddy's November Seventeen cover in hand will be admitted to the exclusive Seventeen Magazine/Teddy Geiger Pre-Show Party. The lucky 50 will have the chance to meet Teddy, have photos taken with the star and hear him perform a private mini-concert. It is recommended that fans arrive early as the pre-show parties are first come, first served to the first 50 people on line (check local venues for show times). Official rules for the Seventeen Magazine/Teddy Geiger pre-show parties are available at Seventeen.com/teddy.

"Teddy embodies everything that our readers want in a guy: he's smart, sensitive, talented and romantic," said Seventeen editor-in-chief Atoosa Rubenstein. "We are proud to be his first-ever cover and excited to be able to connect him to some of his most devoted fans with these exclusive, private mini-concerts around the country."

"If two years ago you had told me I would be on the cover of Seventeen Magazine, I would have said, 'yeah, right!,' rolled my eyes and put my face back down into the piano keys," said Teddy Geiger. "To me, it still feels that way, so I'm going to go practice for these shows."

Teddy Geiger combines considerable musical talents with his cover boy charisma. His debut album, Underage Thinking, was released on March 21, 2006, entered the Billboard Top 200 chart at #8 and quickly became one of the year's most well-received albums finding ready raves in the mainstream and musical press.

"Teddy Geiger projects an easy charm along with his real pop chops," raved The New York Times while People magazine, in a three-and-a-half star "Critic's Choice" review, praised " ... a talent far beyond his years on a first-rate pop CD ... .an assured knack for big, sweeping melodies ... just the right heartthrob combination of sexy and sweet ... Teddy Geiger should have a long career ahead of him."

The album's first track, "For You I Will (Confidence)," is an RIAA- certified gold single and radio smash in the U.S. where it hit Top 30 or better on several charts including Hot Adult Top 40 Recurrents (#2), Hot Adult Top 40 Tracks (#10), Top 40 Mainstream (#18), Hot Digital Songs (#17), Adult Top 40 (#17), Pop 100 (#19), and the Billboard Hot 100 (#29). The video for Teddy Geiger's new single, "These Walls," had its world premiere the week of September 4 on MTV's "TRL" and may currently be seen at MTV.com.

An Underage Thinking: Look Where We Are Now CD/DVD fan pack -- featuring six never-before-released demos, two new remixes plus a DVD with exclusive videos, Teddy's electronic press kit, and more -- will be available in-stores and online on Tuesday, October 10.
