Photos: Sony Blogger Sets Out on 40-Day Tour of 40 Sony Style Stores

In an ongoing effort to increase one-on-one consumer dialogue and feedback, Rick Clancy, Sony Electronics' senior vice president for corporate communications (a.k.a. The CE Industry's Favorite Blogger), will be criss-crossing the country over the next 40 days visiting 40 Sony Style® stores.

Throughout the trip he will be posting comments and videos based on conversations with consumers and store personnel on the company's blog at http://www.sony.com/electronicsblog.

Blending the Web 2.0 nature of Sony's blog with classic face-to-face interaction, Clancy will be visiting stores from the Atlantic to the Pacific, along with many stops in-between, to talk with Sony's customers to better understand their expectations and how the company's products fit into their lives.

During his store visits, Clancy will also demonstrate the newest products Sony has to offer and talk about the latest company initiatives, which will then be shared through blog posts, vlogs, photos and podcasts.

In addition to speaking with customers, Clancy will tour notable landmarks and points of interest in the cities he will visit, to get a stronger sense of the community, the people and the needs of Sony's consumers.

Not only will the blog posts reflect on his interactions with consumers, but Clancy will also include vlogs and photos and write about customer reactions to store services, such as Backstage™ customer support and the VAIO® product trade-in program, new products such as OLED-TV, the thinnest television in the world, as well as progressive environmental initiatives such as the Sony Take Back Recycling program.
