This week, singer/songwriter P!nk ascends to the No.1 position on the U.S. singles chart with her smash hit, "So What." The irresistible rocking single tops Billboard's "Hot 100 Singles," "Hot Digital Songs" and "Hot Digital Tracks" charts, and is the No. 1 radio airplay gainer for four weeks in a row, making it one of the top 10 most played songs at CHR radio stations. The David Meyers directed video is currently in rotation on VH-1, Fuse, Music Choice, and is one of the top ten videos on MTV.

"So What" was co-written by P!nk and produced by collaborator Max Martin, who worked with her on 'Who Knew" and "U + Ur Hand." The New York Times describes the first single from her forthcoming album, Funhouse, as "Guitar-charged and aggressively bouncy," and the Boston Herald gives it a "B+." Funhouse is her fifth studio effort and is slated for release on October 28th.

Since her debut in 2000, P!nk has been widely hailed as a fearlessly talented singer/songwriter, and the Pennsylvania native's genre-defying creative risk-taking has propelled her to global stardom. To date, the chanteuse has sold 22 million albums cumulatively worldwide. Her previous albums include: her four million-unit selling debut, Can't Take me Home (2000); her sophomore follow-up, M!ssundaztood (2001) which sold 11 million worldwide; and the 2.7 million worldwide seller Try This (2003). Her most recent effort, I'm Not Dead (2006) sold over 5 million units globally and spawned two No. 1 hits, "Who Knew" and "U + Ur Hand" along with critic/fan favorites, "Stupid Girls" and "Dear Mr. President."
