*COUNTRY RADIO: Country sensation Jimmy Wayne just released a version of "Sara Smile" that is climbing up the Country Songs chart. Daryl and John, who appear on this chart for the first time in their career, recorded new background vocals for Wayne's cover. Hall explains, "'Sara Smile' is a song that I wrote a long time ago, but it still has the same power that time has not altered. Its simple emotional message transcends all styles and formats. Jimmy's a great singer and does the song proud."

*TV: Daryl Hall and John Oates are lending their voices to Seth MacFarlane's new animated series 'The Cleveland Show.' Acting as the title character's conscience, Daryl will play the angel and John will play the devil resting on Cleveland's shoulders. The show premiered this week and Daryl and John will appear in two episodes.

*BOOKS: Daryl Hall and John Oates share their inspiration and the stories behind two of their many hits -- "She's Gone" and "Sara Smile" -- in the upcoming book 'Chicken Soup for the Soul: The Story Behind the Song' (out Nov 10th).

*LIVE: Tickets for Daryl Hall and John Oates concert on 10.23 at the Philly Spectrum, one of the final musical performances at the legendary venue, sold out within minutes of the sale.

Taking its title from one of their earliest singles, a song that has always summed up the duo's individual and collective philosophy of being true to themselves, 'Do What You Want, Be What You Are: The Music of Daryl Hall and John Oates' marks the first comprehensive multi-CD, multi-label deluxe box set compilation ever assembled from their entire career's work, four CDs containing 74 tracks (16 of them previously unreleased).
