NEW YORK, Dec. 21, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- After last night's exciting live finale of NBC's "The Sing-Off" featuring performances from the top four contenders -- The Backbeats, Committed, Jerry Lawson & Talk of The Town, and Street Corner Symphony -- Committed was named the winning group landing a record deal with Epic Records and $100,000 prize. Beginning the second season with ten competing groups, the finale episode of the five-night holiday event series attracted nearly 9 million viewers making it the top ranking program of the night. Committed, from Huntsville, Alabama, was dedicated to creating unique harmonies with powerful lead vocals and a booming bass line, winning over audiences from day one with an astounding number of viewer votes and the most downloaded songs throughout the series. Committed will be appearing on NBC's Today Show Thursday, December 23rd to perform their holiday song "Angels We Have Heard On High."

In addition to all of the songs from season two being available online, a finalist EP featuring studio versions of each finalist's signature song is also available. Epic Records will also be releasing "The Sing-Off: The Best of Season 2" on February 8, 2011, featuring studio versions of fan favorites, as well as judges' picks for best songs from all competing groups presented throughout the season.

In light of the holiday season, Epic Records released "The Sing-Off: Harmonies for the Holidays," a holiday compilation of one-of-a-kind takes on classic holiday songs from all competing groups on the second season. Available now, the album features songs of various genres sung like you've never heard before.

"The Sing-Off" is produced by Tenth Planet Productions, Outlaw Productions and Sony Pictures Television. Joel Gallen, Deb Newmyer and Sam Weisman are executive producers. Josh Greenberg serves as co-executive producer.
