FEARnet Names Elizabeth Greer Director of Research

SANTA MONICA, Calif., June 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- FEARnet, the premier destination for horror, thriller and suspense TV content, has named Elizabeth Greer Director of Research, it was announced today by Faye Walker, Senior Vice President of Marketing at FEARnet.

Based in the company's Santa Monica headquarters, Greer is responsible for directing and developing all network research efforts—using ratings data and other analytic databases—for FEARnet's three content properties: the linear TV channel, free VOD movie service and award-winning website, FEARnet.com. In this role, she reports on the company's rapid growth by providing research materials to key departments, primarily focusing on ad sales, affiliate sales, programming and marketing.

Prior to joining FEARnet, Greer was a media research manager at RPA, a fully integrated advertising agency in Santa Monica, where she helped to develop custom modeling and analytics tools for the Honda and Acura accounts, as well as media planning for MGM, during her six-year tenure at the agency.

Greer began her career at Dailey & Associates Advertising, working as an Assistant Media Buyer, acquiring local television and radio in several markets for Safeway and Southern California Ford Dealers. From there, she moved to Starcom Worldwide, where she worked as a Media Planner, planning national and local television, radio, print, and out-of-home for Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment. Before joining RPA, Greer was a Media Planner for Kastner & Partners, formulating media plans for Porsche and Red Bull, and negotiating advertising rates and packages.

Greer graduated magna cum laude from the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY, with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, and received a Management Studies Certificate from the Simon School of Business, as a member of the Golden Key International Society.
