John Mellencamp on The Bob & Tom Show Columbia Records Artist Joins Nationally Syndicated Radio Team This Week
Columbia Records artist John Mellencamp has joined the nationally-syndicated radio team Bob & Tom this week, making his first appearance as co-host on the "Bob & Tom" show on Monday, December 10. During his two-hour appearance on the first of five shows, Mellencamp performed "Peaceful World," from his critically-acclaimed new album, Cuttin' Heads, as well as an acoustic version of "Paper & Fire." Mellencamp opened up to the radio audience with spontaneous humor, philosophical musings and revealing anecdotes from his career. During John's first hour on the air, the "Bob & Tom" show received more than 100 emails from fans.
Mellencamp will be co-hosting the "Bob & Tom" show through Friday, December 14, telling more stories and performing more songs, including various new tracks from Cuttin' Heads, each day.
John has been a guest on the "Bob and Tom" show many times in the past both as an interview subject and as a performer. When Bob and Tom (and Kristi and Chick) are talking to John you can expect the unexpected, be it discussions about music, movies, news or politics or maybe even Chick's latest dreams of home improvement projects that John helps with!
The "Bob and Tom" show is syndicated on over 100 stations nationwide. The show is broadcast from WFBQ 94.7 in Indianapolis.
