"Judge Hatchett," the new court series hosted by Judge Glenda Hatchett from Columbia TriStar Television Distribution (CTTD), scored its highest national ratings to date for the week of October 9. The program's 2.1 (AA%) household rating was up 11% from its premiere week's 1.9 (AA%).

Hosted by former Fulton County Georgia juvenile Judge Glenda Hatchett, "Judge Hatchett" is targeted to a younger audience and focuses on the presentation of disputes involving conflict between young people and their families. Rather than the cut and dried solutions of traditional court shows, "Judge Hatchett" specializes in creative sentencing and after-care. The show is produced in New York.

"Judge Hatchett's" current ratings solidify the program's ranking as the number two new syndicated first-run strip.
