PlayStation® 2 Touring Attraction Makes Appearance at Voodoo Music® Festival for Consumer Sampling Opportunity

The PlayStation® 2 Touring Attraction will be on site at the Voodoo Village at The VOODOO MUSIC® FESTIVAL Saturday, October 28th in New Orleans' City Park, Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc. announced today. The 68-foot truck features 30 PlayStation 2 kiosks allowing consumers the opportunity to experience the hottest new computer entertainment system and sample various games from the massive launch library of 26 titles.

Shooting Gallery, the New York-based diverse multimedia company, created the Voodoo Lounge -- a weekend-long series of all-night music events and parties. Held at the Contemporary Arts Center (900 Camp Street), the festival will keep the crowds pumped with the best in musical entertainment along with an interactive Shooting Gallery Voodoo Village presented by PlayStation 2, and a Vendor Village for concertgoers to explore.

As "Official Voodoo Village Sponsor," Sony Computer Entertainment America builds upon its innovative grassroots and broad-based consumer marketing initiatives for the PlayStation brand. The partnership is one facet of Sony Computer Entertainment America's underground marketing programs designed to build brand equity for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system.
