In Single-Elimination Tournament at the 989 Sports NFL Players Party
WHAT: Running Back Mike Anderson of the Denver Broncos is the
989 Sports™ "Locker Room Challenge" champion as he emerged from
eight of the NFL's top players in a single-elimination tournament
playing popular football videogame NFL GameDay™ 2001 for the
PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system. Anderson defeated
running back Marshall Faulk of the St. Louis Rams 26-21 to win the
title. Other Locker Room Challenge participants this year
included: Miami Dolphins quarterback Damon Huard, San Francisco
49ers quarterback Jeff Garcia, Detroit Lions quarterback Charlie
Batch, Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Barry Gardner, St. Louis Rams
defensive back Devin Bush and Oakland Raiders running back Zach
Crockett.
NFL GameDay™ 2001 for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment
system features all 31 NFL teams and players, amazingly realistic
