'Twisted Metal: Black,' the latest incarnation of the most successful car combat series, will be a key sponsor at Ozzfest, with characters and imagery from the game featured prominently around the main stage throughout the summer tour. In addition, Sony Computer Entertainment America will provide PlayStation 2 kiosks showcasing 'Twisted Metal: Black' at each of the Ozzfest venues, and will have the PlayStation 2 truck -- a customized 68 foot truck decked out with PlayStation 2 systems displaying a variety of different games -- on site at many locations, allowing consumers to sample the incredibly inventive and intense game before its North America release later this month.
"We are thrilled to have the opportunity to include 'Twisted Metal: Black' on the Ozzfest tour this summer," said Sharon Shapiro, director, promotions, Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc. "We're certain that the dark look and feel of 'Twisted Metal: Black' will appeal to Ozzfest fans. Showcasing the game throughout the tour allows us to expose 'Twisted Metal: Black' to both fans of the series and to new consumers, who will enjoy this shockingly imaginative game."
