Train Pulls Up With Five Grammy Nominations For Title Track From Double Platinum Drops of Jupiter

With First DVD/Home Video in-Stores, Rock Group Gears Up For Winter Olympics Performance

Columbia Records rock group Train has garnered nominations in five categories--including Record Of The Year and Song Of The Year -- for the 44th Annual Grammy Awards it was announced today. Winners for this year's Grammys will be announced at the 44th Annual Grammy Awards Ceremony to take place on February 27 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and will be broadcast on CBS Television to a worldwide audience.

The five Grammy nominations stemming from Train's double-platinum album Drops Of Jupiter are the first for the San Francisco group whose first DVD/home video Midnight Moon, a live concert documentary recorded at San Francisco's historic Warfield Theater, was released on December 18. Fans of Train can catch the band's performance at the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City on February 17 to be broadcast live on NBC Television to a worldwide audience.
