311's 'Evolver' Debuts on the Billboard Top 200 at #7

Volcano Recording artist 311's seventh studio album debuts at #7 this week in the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart, beating out such rock favorites as Kiss, Thrice and Eve 6.

"Creatures (For A While)," the first single of the album is getting major airplay from KXRK in New York to KROQ in Los Angeles. Currently it is #8 on the R&R Alternative chart and top 10 at BDS Modern Rock chart

The band recently performed "Creatures (For A While)" on "The Late Late Show With Craig Kilborn," and will be bringing their signature brand of rock/hip-hop and reggae to "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on September 2.

311 are comprised of Nick Hexum (vocals, guitars), S.A. Martinez (vocals), Tim Mahoney (guitars), P-Nut (bass), and Chad Sexton (drums). The band first got together in 1990 in Omaha, Nebraska. Since then they have sold 7 million albums, and have toured with everyone from Jay-Z to the Red Hot Chili Peppers. 311 are currently headlining in the following cities:
