The Wylde Bunch On-Board the Sprite Liquid Tour

The Wylde Bunch, a high-energy hip-hop/rock band based in Los Angeles, is taking major steps into the spotlight with Sprite and CAA adding the hot new group to the lineup for the highly-anticipated Sprite Liquid Mix Tour for 2003. The Wylde Bunch's debut album on Columbia Records, Fast Times At Washington High, is slated for release in early 2004.

The Wylde Bunch is generating an enormous buzz as the group prepares for its first major national tour in the United States. The Wylde Bunch uses only live instruments, cleverly combining elements of hip-hop, rock and funk for an infectious and positive musical experience. The Sprite Liquid Mix Tour showcases both established and rising musical artists ranging from hip-hop to rock, and returns with the cultural and musical diversity established with 2002's legendary line-up. The Wylde Bunch caters to a profoundly diverse audience. Headed by the talented producer/writer duo, Drop Squad (Jonell's "So Wassup", Def Jam & Coca-Cola), each group member brings a particular musical flavor and skill set to the Wylde Bunch, pushing the envelope of innovation in music and entertainment. The Wylde Bunch history dates back to Washington Preparatory High School's exceptional and award-winning marching band in Los Angeles. Then, led by renowned teacher and musician, Fernando Pullum, who was featured on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" earlier this year, the Wylde Bunch was formed. In 2001, Steve Harvey (KKBT Los Angeles) crowned them the "Best Group," which led to a contract with Columbia Records.
