Hip-hop artist Lil' Flip has just debuted at #4 on the Billboard Top 200 Best-Selling Albums chart with his eagerly-awaited new double album, U Gotta Feel Me. With first full week's sales of 198,350 units, Flip's experiencing his best sales week ever and parlayed his new release into the #1 slot on the nation's Rap albums chart and #3 on the best-selling R&B albums chart.
Lil' Flip is currently all over America's radio airwaves with his scorching hit, "Game Over," (from U Gotta Feel Me) and his buzz-worthy appearance on a sizzling remix of Beyonce's "Naughty Girl," currently heating up R&B stations coast-to-coast.
"Game Over" has been requested every day on BET's "106th & Park Countdown," where Flip is scheduled to perform the #1 requested track tonight, Thursday, April 8 (check your local listings). Lil' Flip's video for "Game Over" will get its "Pre-RL" premiere on MTV's "TRL" ("Total Request Live") on Friday, April 16, between 5pm-6pm (EDT).
The Godfather of Dirty South freestylin', Lil' Flip broke into the national limelight with his 2000 independent release, The Leprechaun, which sold more than 150,000 copies as an indie and featured Flip's breakout hit, "I Can Do Dat." In 2002, Flip returned with Undaground Legend, which, driven by the hit, "The Way We Ball," hit the #12 slot on the Billboard 200 and #4 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Undaground Legend was certified platinum by the RIAA in December 2002.
