Texas punkers and Jive/Zomba Recording Artists Bowling For Soup will release their newest CD A Hangover You Don't Deserve, their 3rd for the label, on September 14, 2004.

Bowling For Soup went back into the studio with producer Butch Walker, and recorded A Hangover You Don't Deserve in Atlanta, GA. This follows their 2002 release Drunk Enough To Dance, which earned them a Grammy Nomination for Best Performance Pop by a Duo or Group for their smash single "Girl All the Bad Boys Want."

Says singer and guitarist Jaret (who also co-produced), "This being our 7th album, we felt like we needed to kick it up a notch and that is exactly what we did. This album was so much fun to write and make and I think it shows in the CD itself. In fact, if you can listen to this album and not end up with a smile on your face, you should seek medical attention because, chances are, you are in a coma."

The first single off the bands new release, titled "1985" is a kids-eye-view of their mom's excruciating struggle with letting go of the good old days ... the mid-1980's! "1985" will ship to radio June 28th.

Bowling For Soup just finished a Japan and UK tour and are confirmed to play The Vans Warped Tour, playing dates starting June 25th in Houston, TX.

Bowling For Soup are: Jaret, vocals and guitar; Chris, guitar; Erik, bass and Gary, drums.
