Sony Opens Tenth Sony Style Fashion Retail Store

A new Sony Style® fashion retail store at The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, will encourage consumers to test-drive a variety of devices and their seamless interaction with digital entertainment content.

The nearly 6,000-square-foot store, which can be seen from Las Vegas Boulevard, opens today and promises to provide shoppers with a high level of personalized service.

"The Forum Shops at Caesars is a natural fit for our latest Sony Style store where we will be among world-class fashion retailers in one of the most well-known shopping meccas in the world," said Mike Fasulo, president of Sony Electronics' eSolutions Company. "Customers will enjoy a hands-on experience with our products, entertainment and technology in an open, consumer-friendly environment."

The store will also encompass the nation's second QUALIA showroom -- the first opened in September in New York -- featuring Sony's cutting-edge line of QUALIA products.

According to Fasulo, "this showroom includes products that epitomize the highest expression of Sony craftsmanship and quality."

A dedicated concierge is positioned within the QUALIA showroom to schedule one-on-one product demonstration appointments with retail consultants.

The Las Vegas Sony Style store features several demonstration areas, including an HDTV display wall equipped with high-definition TV sets and DVD players, and a digital imaging gallery with a selection of digital still cameras, photo printers and camcorders as well as VAIO® PCs to demonstrate connectivity.

The store showcases all of Sony's entertainment merchandise, including DVD movies from Sony Pictures Entertainment, the latest CDs from Sony BMG Music Entertainment, PlayStation 2® consoles and game software, as well as digital music downloads from Sony Connect™.

Shoppers receive personal attention from attendants at a concierge desk located at the store entrance. Wi-Fi Internet access, custom installation support, online product information through SonyStyle.com and custom in-home delivery service are available to consumers.

Sony Style Las Vegas is a part of The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, a 175,000-square-foot, three-level expansion extending from the existing retail, dining and entertainment icon to the famed Las Vegas Strip. The array of about 60 upscale specialty retail tenants further expands the selection of luxury brand merchandise.

The Las Vegas store is the tenth Sony Style to open in the nation. Other locations include South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, Calif.; Beverly Center in Beverly Hills, Calif.; Stanford Shopping Center in Palo Alto, Calif.; Cherry Creek Mall in Denver; Mall at Millenia in Orlando, Fla.; Somerset Collections Mall in Detroit; The Dallas Galleria; Copley Place in Boston; and The Houston Galleria.
