Torrie Dorrell Joins Sony Online Entertainment as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing

Sony Online Entertainment Inc. (SOE), a worldwide leader in massively multiplayer online (MMO) gaming, announced today that Torrie Dorrell has recently joined the company as the new Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing. Ms. Dorrell will be responsible for managing the company's marketing and public relations departments, as well as bringing long-term strategic focus and direction to the company's efforts to reach new audiences.

"Her experience in building brands within the entertainment industry -- both on the traditional Hollywood studio side as well as her recent interactive entertainment experience -- makes her an ideal senior addition to our growing business."

Before joining Sony Online Entertainment, Ms. Dorrell served as General Manager of the Black Label Games division and Vice President of Global Marketing at Vivendi Universal Interactive. She has also worked for Universal Studios, Warner Brothers and the Walt Disney Company.
