Seattle Area Kids Rate the Top Videogames for the Holiday Season: PlayStation®2 Titles Featured at Toy Test 2005

WHO: Industry leader Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc.
markets the PlayStation® family of products and develops,
publishes, markets and distributes software for the PS one™
game console, the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system
and the PSP™ (PlayStation® Portable) entertainment system
for the North American market.
WHAT: An annual event produced by Herb Weisbaum, NBC's Toy Test is
the venue for children of all ages to test the hottest new
games for the approaching holiday season. Seattle area kids
will have the opportunity to play and rate games they like
best, casting their vote for the game they feel will be at the
top of all wish lists this December. Last year's Toy Test
boasted more than 10,000 kids who voiced their opinions on what
would be the hottest software titles for the holidays.
Results gathered from gamers surveyed throughout the two-week
event (open to the public) serve as the backdrop for the
broadcast segment, which airs on NBC's "TODAY" show the week
prior to the Thanksgiving weekend.

PlayStation 2 Title Highlights:
-- The line-up will include a mix of innovative hot and
upcoming first party titles, including Jak X: Combat
Racing™, Gretzky™ NHL® 2006 and Shadow of the
Colossus™.
-- EyeToy™ software, which incorporates the unique motion-
tracking technology through a USB camera, will once again
be featured at Toy Test. EyeToy™: Play 2 returns to
Toy Test after the first installment of EyeToy: Play was a
finalist in 2003.
-- Highly anticipated third party software titles will also
be on display at Toy Test 2005 including Madden NFL '06,
We Love Katamari™, Burnout™ Revenge and SpongeBob
SquarePants™: Lights, Camera, PANTS!
