Atlanta's Judge Glenda Hatchett Takes Over Lenox Square's Macy's Court

      Local Teachers & Mentors to Receive Awards From Judge Hatchett

Atlanta native and Fulton County resident, Judge Glenda Hatchett (host of the syndicated court television show JUDGE HATCHETT) kicks off her multi-city "Reach for a Better Future: Inspiring Excellence Tour," in her home town on Saturday, October 8, at Lenox Square where she will honor two Atlanta-area mentors (one teacher and one non-teacher) who have inspired others to excellence.

There will be an opportunity for photographers to shoot the Judge giving awards to each of these mentors. Judge Hatchett will also be speaking to the crowd gathered in the Macy's Court area of Lenox Square about getting involved and inspiring excellence in the Atlanta community.

In addition, local community organizations such as United Way of Metro Atlanta, Stand Up For Kids -- Atlanta, Families First, Operation P.E.A.C.E. and Metro Atlanta CASA Collaborative will have tables set up to discuss their programs and encourage the community to get involved. There will also be several raffle drawings and prizes given away throughout the event.
