So So Def/Zomba recording artist Anthony Hamilton in sponsorship with VH1 Soul will kick off his Change Your World Tour in Richmond, VA at the Landmark Theater on April 6th.

Anthony Hamilton, the acclaimed 7X Grammy nominated artist will bring his distinct soulful voice and unforgettable showmanship this spring on the first leg of his US tour with a live band. Heather Headley will support Anthony on this 22-city tour across the United States.

AIN'T NOBODY WORRYIN' was released on December 13, 2005, and was quickly embraced by critics nationwide. Newsweek "The new CD is as inspired, warm and unaffected as his last ... a slow burning collection of gritty and graceful everyday tales ..." People "Anthony Hamilton delivers the best R&B album of the year ... the southernfried soul man returns with a disc that takes him to another level as a singer and songwriter, establishing as one of the most important R&B artists of his generation." USA Today "There is nothing neo about the soul Hamilton sings ... Not only does his raw, rough-hewn voice harken to a time when R&B wasn't all polished smooth, but the songs he writes stick with you long after they're over."

AIN'T NOBODY WORRYIN' marks the return of a Southern-bred singer drenched in the blues and soul tradition of Al Green and Donny Hathaway, who writes with the world-weary street wisdom of Bill Withers, Bobby Womack and Marvin Gaye. A musician's musician, Anthony Hamilton wears his roots on his sleeve for all to see and hear. This will be a performance that you will not want to miss.

Anthony Hamilton will be performing at SXSW at La Zona Rosa on March 16th and recently performed at the NAACP Image Awards on March 3rd with Carlos Santana. He is also a part of VH1's "You Oughta Know" franchise which supports ground breaking artists promotionally on-air, online and off-channel.
