More Than 150 Levels and Extensive Level Editor Give Gamers More Ways to Celebrate the Franchise's 15th Anniversary

Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc. announced today the release of Lemmings™, now available throughout North America for the PSP™ (PlayStation®Portable) system. Celebrating its 15th anniversary this year and developed by Team 17, Lemmings keeps true to the game's original franchise theme, testing players' wits and reflexes as they guide a group of hapless little creatures from entrance point to exit point through various hazard-filled stages.

"Lemmings has been a successful franchise for the past 15 years and is ideal for gamers on-the-go to play anytime, anywhere with its quick-pace and challenging, yet satisfying levels," said Susan Nourai, director, online and product marketing, Sony Computer Entertainment America. "With classic gameplay and PlayStation Portable exclusive features, we expect Lemmings to appeal to a wide range of gamers, including those familiar with the franchise and those new to the game."

Lemmings for the PSP system revamps the well-revered and addictive puzzle game with never-before-seen levels, updated graphics, a new mix of music, and an extensive level editor that allows players to build unique, custom-created levels and share them online with others.
