Pandora Now Offers Gracenote Lyrics Service
Users of Web's Most Popular Internet Radio Service Can Now Access World's Largest Database of Accurate and Authorized Lyrics, Including New Releases

Listeners of Pandora's Internet radio service can now view lyrics to songs they love while they play, thanks to an agreement between Gracenote and Pandora announced today. Now available through Pandora's site at www.pandora.com, Gracenote's lyrics service offers the largest catalog of accurate and authorized lyrics in the world, including new releases, and provides a new and exciting way for music fans to connect with their favorite songs.
Through the agreement, Pandora users will have access to lyrics for hundreds of thousands of tracks from more than 20,000 music publishing catalogs, including those from the four major publishers, as well from as dozens of prominent independent publishers, all via Gracenote's lyrics database.
Pandora Internet radio is personalized, free and easy to use. To start a station, listeners need only enter the name of an artist, song or classical composer, and within seconds Pandora creates a "station" that plays their music, and more music like it, based on the Music Genome Project. Up to 400 unique musical attributes are considered when Pandora selects the next song for a listener's playlist. Thumbs up and down allow listeners to further fine tune the station to reflect their tastes.
