Boys Like Girls New Single 'Two Is Better Than One' Receives a Sweet Launch

Boys Like Girls are continuing the success of their new album, Love Drunk, with another hit song, national TV performances, sold-out headlining dates and more. "Two Is Better Than One" (feat. Taylor Swift) has just been released as their second single and has been one of the most added songs at Pop radio three weeks in a row. The song has already cracked the top 30 on the pop radio chart and sales of the track jumped 44% last week at iTunes, surpassing the 20,000 threshold.

The band will perform the single on both NBC's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday, November 26 and on ABC's The View on Tuesday, December 8.

The sophomore album, Love Drunk, made its debut at #8 on the Billboard Top 200 and has since sold over 100,000 units in less than two months and received glowing reviews from diverse outlets like People, Alternative Press, The New York Times and Billboard Magazine who cemented their place in pop music by writing "...these songs will be heard for many years to come." The album also features the infectious title track and first single, which landed at #8 on the pop radio chart and has sold nearly 1 million digital tracks to date.

In addition, Baskin-Robbins, America's favorite neighborhood ice cream shop, selected Boys Like Girls to help launch the company's new Double Header Cone in an online advertising campaign that will run mid-November. The ads will feature the band and their new single and will also be posted to facebook.com/baskinrobbins. The new cone features both Soft Serve and hard scoop ice cream on the same cone to echo the song lyrics that "Two is Better than One."

The band is currently on a U.S. headlining tour that runs through November 30th and includes sold out shows in several markets including Philadelphia, Boston and New York. They'll also perform at Z-100's sold-out Jingle Ball on December 11 at Madison Square Garden.
