"There are moments in the theatre when you lean forward in your seat with shivers racing down the spine, and realize there is nowhere on God's earth you'd rather be. End of the Rainbow is one such occasion."
-The London Daily Telegraph

MASTERWORKS BROADWAY proudly announces the release of Tracie Bennett Sings Judy: Songs from the Broadway Production of End of the Rainbow and Other Garland Classics available now. The new play with music features Michael Cumpsty, Tom Pelphrey and Jay Russell, joining two-time Olivier Award-winner Tracie Bennett in Peter Quilter's acclaimed show about the legendary Judy Garland. Directed by the Tony® Award winning Terry Johnson, End of the Rainbow started performances on March 19, 2012 at Broadway's Belasco Theatre, opening April 2.

Starring Olivier® Award-winner Tracie Bennett in a bravura performance as Judy Garland, End of the Rainbow received rave reviews and four Olivier® Award nominations in London. The setting is December 1968, and Judy Garland is about to make her comeback... again. In a London hotel room preparing for a series of concerts, with both her new young fiance and her adoring accompanist, Garland struggles to get "beyond the rainbow" with her signature cocktail of talent, tenacity, and razor-sharp wit. This savagely funny drama offers unique insight into the inner conflict that inspired and consumed one of the most beloved figures in American popular culture.

With the accompaniment of a six-piece onstage band, Tracie Bennett brings alive some of Garland's most memorable and beloved songs, including The Man That Got Away, Come Rain Or Come Shine, The Trolley Song and of course, Somewhere Over The Rainbow. In addition to these songs, the album includes other Garland favorites such as Zing Went The Strings Of My Heart, San Francisco and When The Sun Comes Out.

End of the Rainbow recently played a triumphant run in London's West End. Prior to Broadway, End of the Rainbow was performed at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis from January 28 through March 11.
