WHO: Sony Reader™ Store has launched Reader for iOS, a free application that allows customers to have more freedom to read the content they love, anytime and anywhere.

WHAT: The Reader for iOS app allows Reader Store customers to access their library on their compatible Apple devices. The Reader for iOS app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad devices with an iOS of 3.0 or later, and an optimized version is available for iPhone® 5.

Use of the iOS app is easy. Readers just download the app to their Apple device, enter their Reader Store credentials and then download content from their Reader Store library to read, wherever and whenever.

Content on the app can be customized to the user's personal preferences. Reader Store customers can display their books in a list view or book cover view. While reading, they can change view settings such as formatting, text, brightness, orientation and night mode. There are also options to set bookmarks to view later or to view the contents of a book and jump to a selected chapter.

Customers who download the iOS app will also for a limited time automatically receive exclusive content from celebrated urban fantasy author and one of Reader Store's most popular authors, Kim Harrison. This app-only special short adventure titled "Trouble on Reserve" is an installment from the author's bestselling Hollows series. The short story will automatically download to the customer's library on the iOS app.

WHERE: Reader for iOS is available now for free from the Apple app store. For more information on Sony Reader Store please visit readerstore.sony.com.
