Monday, April 29: Dr. Oz starts the detox series by walking viewers through the seven parts of the belly and steps necessary to rev up metabolism, blast fat, shrink fat cells, detox your gut, beat bloating, lose the love handles and tighten up the core. He demonstrates a belly fat blasting work out you can do at home and reveals key youth restoring detox foods.
Tuesday, April 30: Ultimate Detox Cleanse Week continues with Dr. Junger who demonstrates a daily jumpstart cleanse with three women who feel zapped of energy. The three-day cleanse streamlines everything from shopping list rules to the do's and don'ts of cleansing and the key ingredient to jumpstart digestion. Then, ultimate food expert Mark Bittman shares his vegan-til-dinnertime strategy for weight loss, which emphasizes eating vegan until 6pm.
Wednesday, May 1: Deepak Chopra, M.D. returns to share his 21 day meditation cleanse that aims to relieve stress and improve quality of life, both mentally and physically. Chopra discusses the deadly impact of stress on the heart and shares tools for preparing the body for meditation - including proper position, concentration and breathing methods - before leading a de-stress meditation. Then, Sherri Sheppard stops by to share her 'Plan D' to lose weight and beat diabetes, including limiting sugar intake, examining your relationship with food and daily exercise.
Thursday, May 2: Dr. Oz introduces the juice cleanse that will transform your health in just one weekend. Joe Cross, director of "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead" takes viewers through his health transformation plan through juicing and demonstrates how to overcome some of the most common juicing obstacles, such as overcoming cravings, how to get past that "grassy" taste and how to save time making juices at home.
Friday, May 3: Detox week culminates with a swimsuit cleanse that will help shed up to five pounds in one week. Dr. Oz will take viewers through daily protein requirements, how lean muscle burns fat faster and meals and snacks that will help you achieve your goal. Plus, stylist Stacy Cox recommends bathing suits for every body type, including the best overall slimming suits and the best suits to cover problem areas. Later in the episode, professional athlete Gabrielle Reece opens up to Dr. Oz about her less than perfect life, her must have rules to live by and why it's important to challenge yourself every day. Finally, Dr. Oz reveals his "must-have" foods of the future.
