NEW YORK, Oct. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Australia's much buzzed about future-soul band HIATUS KAIYOTE is back with the new EP Live In Revolt -  available on October 22 from Flying Buddha/Sony MasterworksLive In Revolt features re-imagined live versions of tracks from their highly acclaimed debut Tawk Tomahawk deemed "worthy of 4-star acclaim" by the Wall Street Journal.

The album includes live versions of "Rainbow Rhodes/Nakamarra," and "Sphynx Gate/The World It Softly Lulls" medleys. The one and only Prince (@3rdeyegirl) recently tweeted about their single "Nakamarra" when he gave people the simple directive to "Don't Worry....Just Click" and watch the video. The first song on the EP "Rainbow Rhodes/Nakamarra" debuted on Elle.com today. A new live video featuring the tracks on Live In Revolt will debut on Yahoo.com on October 22nd.

Hiatus Kaiyote exhibits their "slinky grooves," as detailed by Time Out NY to The Arsenio Hall Show on October 28 and KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic on October 30, before kicking off their Fall tour at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, CA, followed by stops in San Francisco, San Jose, Sacramento, Brooklyn, Boston, Washington DC and Philadelphia.

In a little under two years, Hiatus Kaiyote has gained legions of fans from all over the world including highly-respected artists like ?uestlove, Flying Lotus and Erykah Badu, plus tastemakers and audiophiles like London-based DJ Gilles Peterson, Stereogum and Wax Poetics (where they were recently featured the cover along with Little Dragon). The band attracts such a diverse following because the music doesn't fit within the boundaries of a single genre. Each track is like a key ingredient in the listening experience that adds to a fusion of jazz, hip-hop, electronic, opera, rock and soul.

"Music has always been medication to us," lead singer Nai Palm explains. "It's a force for self-healing that we're ready to share with the world."
