NEW YORK, Sept. 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The eight-time Emmy® award-winning, The Dr. Oz Show launches its eighth season with a must see, one-on-one conversation with Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and daughter Ivanka Trump.  In this hour long interview, Dr. Oz will ask the important questions that affect your health and the security of America. He addresses why the health of the candidates has become such a serious issue in this campaign, plus Mr. Trump reveals his own personal health regimen.

For the Season Premiere Monday, September 12th, The Dr. Oz Show kicks off with a special exclusive and an hour you will never forget.  Dr. Oz brings together "The Mothers of The Movement" with the mothers of slain officers in Dallas and Baton Rouge on the topic of gun violence and living with grief in "Healing America's Grief". "I was honored to do this show with these women because I believe mothers are the glue to our society. Season Eight will highlight new groundbreaking season long initiatives and take on the national news stories and issues of the summer in the first week of programming. Tuesday, September 13th will feature The Oz Report: The Story of Women 2016 – a national study conducted this summer by The Dr. Oz Show which uncovers all aspects of women's lives and will introduce, "The New Adult Loneliness." Dr. Oz will be unveiling surprising statistics and focus on "The New Adult Loneliness" as a social issue encouraging women to connect in real life throughout the season. The Oz Report also includes themes that will influence segments and guests throughout the season tackling topics such as, sleeplessness, anxiety, weight loss, fear and worry, and fitness.
