Band Of Merrymakers Premiere New Holiday Single 'A Very Merry Medley' On Billboard

NEW YORK, Oct. 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Band of Merrymakers, a rotating holiday supergroup of travelling troubadours, will release a new holiday medley 'A Very Merry Medley' available this Friday, October 28^th. Billboard premiered the track today, listen here. The song will also be available on a digital re-release of their debut album Welcome To Our Christmas Party.

"We took the best Christmas songs ever written, spun them at Studio 54 in a blender at 128 BPM and what you get is pure holiday magic," says hit songwriters Sam Hollander and Kevin Griffin.

A donation will be made to MusiCares for every album and track sold.  MusiCares ensures that music people have a place to turn in times of financial, medical and personal need.

Band of Merrymakers will perform throughout the holiday season on TV including The Today Show and The Hollywood Christmas Parade. Their tour kicks off in New York City on December 1^st at BB Kings and also hits New Jersey, Connecticut and Los Angeles.

Band of Merrymakers is led by Sugar Ray front man Mark McGrath and hit songwriters/producers Kevin Griffin (Taylor Swift, Sugarland, James Blunt, Howie Day...also of Better Than Ezra) and Sam Hollander (Train, One Direction, Panic! At The Disco, Pentatonix). In addition to making a donation to MusiCares, Band of Merrymakers will be partnering with Musicians On Call (MOC), a nonprofit organization that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities across the country, to design an "Ugly Sweater" for the holiday season. All proceeds from the sale of their sweater will go directly to MOC to help the organization to continue to spread the healing power of music. Band of Merrymakers will also be performing in a hospital this holiday season with MOC, who recently launched their Half A Million Moments Campaign to celebrate performing for over half a million patients, families and caregivers.
