"The Dr. Oz Show" Garners Four 2017 Daytime Emmy® Awards Nominations

Eighth Consecutive Nomination For Both Outstanding Informative Talk Show and Outstanding Informative Talk Show Host

NEW YORK, March 22, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, the seven-time Emmy® award-winning, critically-acclaimed and nationally-syndicated The Dr. Oz Show received its eighth nomination for Outstanding Informative Talk Show and host Dr. Mehmet Oz received his eighth nomination for Outstanding Informative Talk Show Host announced for the 44th Annual Daytime Emmy® awards. This is the eighth consecutive nomination in each category for Dr. Oz and The Dr. Oz Show production team led by executive producer Amy Chiaro and co-executive producers Stacy Rader and Laurie Rich. Additional nominations include Outstanding Interactive Enhancement to a Daytime Program or Series and Outstanding Technical Team and Outstanding Live and Direct to Tape Sound Mixing.

Now in its eighth season, having reached the 1000th episode milestone and having curated over 1400 landmark episodes, The Dr. Oz Show has impacted millions of lives by teaching viewers how to make every day count. Under the direction of Chiaro, The Dr. Oz Show debuted in 2009 with the highest-rated syndication launch in over a decade.
