01/07/2019
LAS VEGAS, Jan. 7, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- (CES, Booth #17300) -- Sony Electronics Inc. today announced the new Sony PS-LX310BT wireless turntable. Whether reliving old records or building up a collection of new releases, listeners can now transport their vinyl music into the present day. With this new turntable, Sony fuses the much-loved vinyl sound quality with the convenience of connecting wirelessly to enjoy clear, natural sound.
"Sony has a proven history of providing audio experiences that listeners love, and the new LX310BT turntable continues that legacy," said Mike Fasulo, president and chief operating officer of Sony Electronics North America. "Whether you're a vinyl aficionado or just starting your collection, this turntable brings modern technology and design to the timeless experience of vinyl."
The Past Meets the Present
The LX310BT brings the warm sound of vinyl to any wireless speaker, soundbar or headphones with the addition of a built-in Bluetooth® transmitter, providing complete listening freedom. Featuring one-step auto playback, the turntable automatically lowers the tone arm, finds the groove and gets the music flowing. When the record ends, just sit back as the tone arm automatically returns to its resting position. Also, for those that prefer a wired connection, the turntable offers an audio cable connection that plugs right into the sound system to easily get the music playing.
The LX310BT has three different settings—low, mid & high—with a GAIN SELECT1 switch. This feature allows users to switch the gain to match the audio level of their record, so listeners can enjoy music as they like. The turntable has a built-in phono pre-amp, which can be selected for use with amplifiers offering only line-level connection. Additionally, with the built-in USB output, listeners can quickly and easily digitize their favorite records' output, so the record can be enjoyed anywhere.
Design Enhanced, Superior Sound Delivered
The turntable features a new tone arm with a sturdy aluminum construction which boosts traceability for rich, clear sounds and powerful bass. The LX310BT boasts an aluminum die cast platter for superb sound balance and, coupled with a vibration dampening slip mat, delivers clearer playback of music. A thick and sturdy dust cover muffles acoustic pressure from speakers, resulting in better stability, less distortion and pitch-perfect playback.
Pricing and Availability
The PS-LX310BT wireless turntable will be available from select Sony authorized audio dealers in spring 2019 with an MSRP of $199.99.
