Sony Corporation Names Anthony Vinciquerra Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Sony Pictures Entertainment

[Culver City, CA - May 11, 2017]  Sony Corporation today announced that Anthony Vinciquerra will become Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE), starting on June 1 and reporting to Sony Corporation President and CEO Kazuo Hirai.  Vinciquerra will replace SPE Chairman and CEO Michael Lynton, who announced in January that he would step down this spring.  Vinciquerra will oversee the studio’s corporate groups and its lines of business: SPE’s Motion Picture Group, Sony Pictures Television and SPE’s Worldwide Media Networks division.
